The site reads that the syllabus provided is for AIEEE 2009 though the download links are directing to the AIEEE 2008 syllabus, so it seems that the syllabus would be more or less the same though nothing could be said about the pattern of the examination after seeing the previous year examination.

The date for AIEEE 2009 examination has not been officially released till yet,but most likely the examination would be held on the last Sunday of April that is 26th April 2009.

THE 'RIGHT' WHICH CAN MAKE EVERYTHING RIGHT

"Our political parties are corrupt. The roads are poor.Sleepless nights due to power-cuts.Bribery and corruption everywhere. The most unclean place to live.Riots and blasts are daily day happenings.Lack of security to the core.India is more like an Indigent nation "

These are some of the statements of an Indian citizen's lamentations today.May be true. But he/she is one of the reasons for these statements which are of great concern, mainly for the public. And the government cannot be spared for this great governing too. Then what is the solution for this issue? If a ruling party is questioned for the poor maintenance of the society, they spend most of the time trying to absolve the blame they are charged upon.At this stage,I would Like to put forward a question. How many of you vote?
For those persons above 18 years who have never seen a polling booth if elections had taken place  in your post-18 years period-"You guys have no rights to question the government whatever be the issue".'But what will the government do even if i vote?'.This is a question of a cynical skeptical citizen. Why should you ask when u have not done your basic civil duty?Let us break the ice.Kick out this crass and naive idea from your mind.Come on India! We have the right to select the Indian Prime Minister and the state Chief Minister.Every vote counts.Vote and then question.Rather 'we' will question. It is high time for the young guns to fire.
But i accept that the pre-voting process is a tedious one. There is a simple way.The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is going on between India and Australia and most of you would have seen the commercial Tata tea which is trying to promote the purpose of voting. The commercial has requested the Indian youth to cast their votes. They have given a site url for registering ourselves in the Electoral Process. The url is www.jaagore.com
Just click on this link and register. It hardly takes two minutes.I kindly request you not to skip this.It is our prime duty.So please register yourselves in this mass registration site.I have already registered.Have you?
IF YOU DO NOT VOTE,YOU ARE PROMOTING THIS SYMBOL
An interesting fact:How many of you know that you can go the polling booth and say "I don't want to vote for any party"?I came to know this when I happened to visit a blog called "cheap-n-chalu".Yes,it is possible according to the 1969 act(section 49-0).And the more interesting thing is that if a party wins by a margin of 100 votes and if there are more than hundred (49-0)votes,the polling will be rejected and a fresh re-polling will be conducted. Also, the candidature of the contestants will be removed since the people have already decided the destiny of them in the first polling. This would make butterflies fly in the tummies of the Politicians which would make them hold genuine candidates for the election.I am really wondering the reason why the election commission has failed to disclose this act to the public. So if you feel there is no party to enhance the betterment of the state/country,just go to the polling booth, wait for a while in the queue, get your finger marked and then say to the presiding election officer,I cast the vote 'not to vote'.So let us march towards a politically lucid and sound India which would pave the path for a "Developed Nation".

SOUTH INDIAN CITIES IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT

Study Ranks Top Indian Cities

neoIT, a specialized consulting firm providing advice and governance on global/offshore ITO and BPO, has studied 27 cities throughout the entire year, and come up with a ranking that will allow clients to see which cities are best for BPO (business process outsourcing) and ITO (information technology offshoring).
neoIT's latest white paper, entitled "India: City Competitiveness," used four main criteria for determining a final Offshore Competitiveness Index: "People - including population numbers, quality and education system; Infrastructure - electrical power, telecommunications, roads, airports; Financial - cost of living, real estate prices; and Catalysts - government support, supporting industries, social and political stability, competing companies and weather."
The study ranked Gurgoan as the top offshore hub. In second place is Bangalore, followed by Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
A CIOL article gives us more details on neoIT's findings.
Leaders
The Leader cities have a high OCC Index and equally high performance. They include Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Noida and Mumbai. Their current attractiveness is high, but they need to continue to work through infrastructure constraints and adopt policies and measures that will keep them competitive.
Challengers
The Challenger cities have a high OCC Index but their performance has not been great. They have clear potential and are likely to challenge the leaders in the near future. They include Kolkata, Thiruvanathapuram, Chandigarh, Indore, Coimbataore, Mysore, Mangalore, Trichy, Vizag & Kochi. These cities have all right things in place to emerge as an attractive choice however they need to package and market them properly.
Unknowns
The Unknowns are cities with a low OCC Index but high performance. These cities are clearly in the declining stage and their future attractiveness is questionable. Delhi, while once attractive is now Unknown because of increasing infrastructure constraints and the rise of satellite towns like Gurgaon and Noida.
Laggards
The Laggards cities have a low OCC Index as well as a low performance rating. They clearly have lagged behind in the race and are unlikely to challenge the leaders in the near future. Jaipur, Shimla, Bhubaneshwar, Nagpur, Pondicherry, Guwahati, Goa and Ahmedabad make up the Laggard category. These cities need to critically evaluate their competitive factors and adopt concrete actionable plans to compete with other attractive cities in the short and medium term before they are permanently left behind.
The study also posits that in time, it will not be country vs. country in the offshore outsourcing race, but city vs. city -- in other words, it stops being India vs. the Philippines, and starts becoming Bangalore vs. Manila.
